To confirm your spot, a 30% deposit of the total trip price is required at the time of booking. The remaining 70% balance must be paid before the deadline shown on each trip's page (for the Norway Ski & Sail, before 15 September 2026). Payments are processed securely via Stripe; Aura Snow Trips never stores your card details.
If you need to cancel your booking, the refundable percentage depends on when you notify us in writing (at aurasnowtrips@gmail.com), relative to the trip's departure date:
Refunds are processed within a maximum of 15 days from written confirmation of the cancellation, minus any applicable banking and payment gateway fees.
The exact route through the Lyngen fjords depends on snow and weather conditions each day, and the skipper and guide may change it at any time for safety reasons. Aura Snow Trips is not liable for delays, cancellations or changes caused by force majeure: adverse weather, maritime incidents, strikes, health restrictions, or any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control. In these cases, an alternative will be sought where possible, but no additional refund beyond this policy is guaranteed. If the trip is cancelled in full, due to force majeure, by the boat operator or the guiding team, Aura Snow Trips will work with the boat operator and the guide to assess whether a full refund of the amount paid can be offered; this is not guaranteed, since it depends on what can be recovered from third parties, but it is our commitment to make it possible whenever it is within our reach.
This trip includes physically demanding activities in remote environments (mountain skiing, avalanche terrain and offshore sailing). Each participant declares themselves to be in adequate physical condition and accepts the risks inherent to this type of expedition. Valid travel and mountain rescue insurance is mandatory for the full duration of the trip — not included in the price. Aura Snow Trips is not responsible for illness, injury, pre-existing medical conditions or their consequences, nor for the costs of any evacuation, rescue or repatriation.
The skipper and mountain guide jointly make all decisions relating to safety, route and itinerary during the trip, and their instructions are binding on all participants. Except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct by Aura Snow Trips, our liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the trip. Aura Snow Trips acts as trip organiser and coordinator; certain services (sailing, accommodation aboard, mountain guiding) are provided by independent professional third parties.
All online payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment gateway. Aura Snow Trips never has access to or stores your card number.
